Skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe

Sierra-at-Tahoe is a nice resort with something for everyone - nice wide trails for beginners and intermediates, snow park with tubing, and terrain park/ramps.  It's also the closest ski resort in South Tahoe area if driving from the Bay Area.  Of all the resorts we've been to, this one is our favorite.


Tips for Skiing Sierra-at-Tahoe

There are several parking lots: A, B, C, D, E.  Parking Lot C has preferred parking for $25 and is the closest to the Main Lodge and ticket windows.  Parking Lot B is still pretty close, near Solstice Eatery which is close to Easy Rider Express lift which goes up to the easiest green trail (Broadway).  Solstice Eatery has both indoor and outdoor tables, and we find it to be less crowded than the Main Lodge.  It is easier to ski to (don't need to hike up stairs, etc.).  Can ski directly from Broadway Trail to Solstice Eatery, and pretty much any of the green/blue trails that we ski can connect back to Broadway.
